This project aims to test and calibrate a K-type thermocouple to allow for accurate temperature reading

We tested the thermocouple on 5 temperatures: 0 C (Freezing Water), 4 C (Cold Water), 22 C (Room Temp), 80 C (Hot Water), and 100 C (Boiling Water)

Assuming a constant Seebeck coefficient of 40 microV/C and a gain of 125, resulting in expected K-type thermocouple coefficient as 5 mV/C

As there is a difference in slope, we fitted the data to get the correct slope representing the K-thermocouple Seebeck coefficient while still having all significant datapoints within the error range. As a result, we found the actual thermocouple coefficient is 4.7 mV/C with an offset of 1.0 V -- this presents an accurate reading for our temperature range.
