Wing FEA Analysis
In this lab, I used Ansys to:
• Perform a modal analysis and identify natural frequencies and mode shapes.
• Perform a harmonic response analysis and identify response amplitudes under periodic
loading.
• Perform a parametric study of the damping ratio and study its effect on the response
Under pressure, the center of the wing has the highest stress
The maximum stress and the frequency it occurs change along with the damping ratio. On the above image, I used a damping ratio of 0.02. Below is the table of different damping ratios
